NEXT CHALLENGE - BEST USE OF HAM BONE
So Pete and I were talking on the phone this morning, and he informs me that he's doing split pea soup for the ham bone challenge. "That's what I'm doing" is of course my response. Being his sister, I naturally accused him of changing his food because he knew I was going to win the challenge. "Not so" he says. It turns out that he has the split pea beans and I already have the white beans for the ham & beans. So we switched our foods. I am such a nice sister. . .and I won't let him forget it either!!

You and your brother are so cute! You make me smile and wish I had a brother. I have a ham bone with some good meat attached...which way should I go? We love both!

Awww. . .thank you Donna. I just love my brother to pieces!! You may have to do like us and see what you have in the pantry. We switched because neither one of us really wanted to make a trip to the grocery. lol. We will post them on Thursday.

That's the same soup I'm making with my leftover ham!! I just buy the bag of beans at Honey Baked, when I get the ham, though.
ReplyDeleteI love the concept of your dual authors to this blog. Cute idea! This is my first visit but not my last!
fondly,

This blog is one of a kind! Waiting for your versions of the soup
ReplyDeleteWhat Lori says is true... she truly is a nice sister (even if she says so herself). Don't believe me? Just ask her....
